Sudden Storm

What happens if there's a sudden storm while my child is at school? Will school close early? Should I come to pick my child up.
Elger Bay Elementary is equipped to keep your children safe if there is a sudden storm while school is in session. School will not be closed earlier than the regularly scheduled day if at all possible. However, if we should need to close early, an emergency phone/email message will be sent to all primary contact persons on your child's account. Please make sure you keep us up-to-date on any changes in your contact information. Just drop us a note or call the school office at 629-1290.

If you would like to pick up your child early from school, please be sure to sign them out in the office before you leave. If there are an abundance of parents picking up children, we will make arrangements to have staff members available to help with the sign-outs in the front foyer. Phones are usually extremely busy during these times. We ask that you be patient as we look out for the safety of all of our students.
